today was a good day.

parry shen came to my asian am class and he was amazing.

he totally remembered me from over three years back in boston, when i was a little pubescent highschool sophomore girl who would drool and go all teeny-bopper-gushing-fan-club-president over him. i also told him that he had the most beautiful teeth in the world, and he slipped me his secret of crest white strips. those were some good times. haha.

now i am a 19yr-old college girl, trying to keep my cool, at ucla, 3000 miles away from home. and we were reunited in my asian american studies class. its crazy where the world takes us sometimes. and i was touched he could still remember me because i am sure he mustve met lots of crazy fans while travelling college campuses across the country to promote blt. amazingness!

he is an inspiration to all of us, especially me. his dedication to xanga has convinced me to start updating this baby again! woot woot.

parry if you are reading this, youre crazy awesome.

to everyone else, go to his website, the best there ever was, or xangerr hollerrrr

love, ess.

back in the BEAN like BIZAHSTON !!

so i've been back for about a
week now, and daaamn, east coast is my home . boston is beautiful, but
whats more, my friends and family are beautiful.

beyond the corruption, the poverty, the racism, the greed, the
political machines, the corporate empire, and the nasty, all i've been
able to see lately as i straddle the streets of boston is the beauty.
the beauty in our dirty subways, the beauty in curbside trash, the
beauty in homeless drunks, the beauty in boarded windows and broken
shingles, the beauty in the unkempt and the neglected.  i am
filled with so much pride and joy to realize that i was fortunate
enough not to grow up in the walls of bel air.  it's something i
almost cant explain, but being back home surrounded by the people i
love and my community i cherish,  has put me back in my element,
and i am filled with so much love, inspiration and happiness.  i
breathe every breath with an inhale of yearning, and exhale of
relief.  thank you to all those who have shown me love.

have a beautiful and safe hollurdayzzzzzz ! and bring in the new year with a BANG BANG!

i think i love the bay

damn, up north is dope! visited oakland, berkeley area and some parts of the city. it really felt like the place for me. and i was for real thinking, is LA the wrong place for me???

ADRIZZLE
well flew in friday, crashed with my buddy adriel. gave me a good tour of the place. checked out some hot spots. you can check out his website above. but it was the night we was waiting for, when we checked out the blue scholars concert.

damn i looooove them. they are so dope, and for real know how to put on a damn good show. it was good seeing them again since the boston summit.

ill-literacy>> saturday was my favorite day! we was kickin' it with adriel's crew ill-lit all day. some of the chillest and dopest folks i've met since being here on the west coast. and for sure i loooove ruby! she's so dope! i love that girl. you MUST check out their website.

first, we drove up to stanford, for the listen to the silence conference. got a little lost, but its all good cause i had gushers and hot fries to hold us down, YOU KNOW!!!! caught up with good old beantown connection MARK and it was all emo from there. we didnt have a lot of time to catch up, it was brief, but it was good. i always enjoy seeing homies from back east.

then we drove down to santa cruz where ill-lit was doing their show. they fucking ripped it. damn! ill they are, this is true.
then we hella smoked up and dogged some nasty BK!!!

sunday i hung out with boston buddy elvis ge! up at berkeley. once again, good to see a familiar face. just kicked it around campus and stuff. catching up. good times.

then sunday night i smoked up with JOSE from that anti-drug commercial where hes doing the spoken word by the bus stop, talking bout his friend rusty, nah means?!!?? haha YEA!! THAT'S WORD. it was tiiiight. !!

monday was my time to fly out. as much as i loved the bay, and being there pulled me farther away from LA. but i was ready to go home. or at least my home in LA.

a lot on my mind right now. but this weekend was good. it was a personal and mental retreat for myself. i'm going home in ONE WEEEEEEK. damn i cant wait.

peace to all you suckas who be reading but don't be showin no love'!! hahah...
